Started the day with a lovely walk around The Blue Lake. Not as blue as it might be, no doubt, but it was early and the skies were grey.
Some interesting green tinges, though
And a place to prove your passion with padlocks, apparently
The drive was mostly through farmland. There were some vinyards, but there will be more and prettier north of Adelaide, on the next day of driving
There were lots more beautiful gum trees, some with mistletoe, but I don't want to repeat myself. Instead, here's a tribute to the many hospitable small towns along the roadsides of Australia, who welcome visitors with shady rest areas, some with free gas barbeques, some with play areas, all with free, clean toilets.
